The GE SmartWater replacement reverse osmosis filter set (FX12P) fits the following GE 12 gallon per day reverse osmosis drinking water systems: GE PNRV12Z, GE PNRV12ZBL, GE PNRV12, and GE GXRV10. When installed in a GE GXRV10 or PNRV12, this GE reverse osmosis replacement filter set removes: 99% of Lead, 99.95% of Cysts, 97% of Mercury, 99% of Chemicals/VOCs, 99% of Copper, 97% of Tannins, and Particulates 0.5-1.0 micron. It also reduces Sediment, Rust, Chlorine (Taste and Odor), Nitrate/Nitrite, Sodium, Magnesium, Ammonia, and Arsenic. GE recommends that you replace the filter every 6 months OR after 900 Gallons of water have been filtered OR if your system monitor lights indicate replacement is required OR if you notice a decrease in the flow of water or objectionable tastes in the water.
